Mr. Johnson was born in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill ( B.A. Psychology, 1994) and the Wake Forest University School of Law (J.D., 1998). Mr. Johnson served as President of the American Bar Association - Law Student Division chapter at the Wake Forest University School of Law and was a recipient of the Corpus Juris Secundum Award for Scholastic Excellence in Contracts and the CALI Excellence for the Future Award while a law student.
He was an Assistant District Attorney in Eastern North Carolina from 1998 - 2000.
